Hazard reduction prunes
Pruning may be required due to a number of reasons such as disease/decay, storm damage and safety, or for aesthetic purposes like allowing sunlight or opening up a view. How the tree is cut is essential to maintaining its overall health, integrity and surrounding environment. Therefore we employ only the best techniques when it comes to executing tree pruning carried out to Australian Standards AS 4373.
Tree & stump removal
If your trees have sustained damage, become too big or present a safety risk to people or property, we are equipped and highly skilled in tree removal of all sizes. Arboreal offers a wealth of experience in complex rigging supporting hard to access removals, assessing hazardous trees and stump grinding. Every so often complete tree removal isn’t the only option and we love tailoring unique environmental solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations.
Milling & timber salvage
Arboreal salvages timber that is removed as part of our resource reclamation program. This gives us access to a variety of local Australian hardwood timbers, including species that are no longer readily available. We provide raw hardwood slabs operating a portable Alaskan chainsaw mill allowing us to turn removed trees into valuable hardwood slabs all from your back yard. We also offer timber sections as habitat and can create firewood for the winter all as part of our efforts to recycle and maximise carbon capture. Cabling & bracing
We provide proactive and preventative strategies and systems to help support compromised trees to maximise their effective life span. Cabling and bracing can help protect trees from further impacts such as extreme winds or storm damage. Our systems can also be used to guide a trees growth back on track or in a more desirable manner.
Reporting & consulting
Arboreal provides professional consultations specific to tree and conversation related issues. We offer general assessments, as well as official arborist reports provided by a certified level 5 arborist upon request. With over 10 years’ experience in conservation and environmental services, Arboreal invests in dedicated resources to maintain a plethora of botanical knowledge regarding our local native and introduced tree species. We can assist with any local council required planning reports as well as tree risk assessments.
Habitat installation/ Nest box installations
Each wildlife species has particular needs when it comes to their habitat requirements. Arboreal specialises in artificial habitat creation as well as nest box installations and emanating natural hollows. Strategic placement of habitat can invite an abundance of wildlife onto your land. Environmental works
While we are capable of standard bush regeneration tasks, we are more focused on terrestrial habitat creation and placement. Arboreal specialise in large scale brush packing, creating native bush gardens and arboreal (aerial) gardens that promote micro eco-systems.
Land management
Arboreal employs a host of holistic land management techniques including Agroforestry and Urban Forestry integrated with standard conversation and land management strategies. We offer large scale brush packs for hydrology and erosion control.
Integrated pest control
Weed control using a variety of methods in a holistic manner.
